4 Nights / 5 Days Program: Cairo – Luxor
A unique journey through the oases and the mystical White Desert
Day 1: Cairo – Bahariya Oasis
Early departure from Cairo by private vehicle to the Bahariya Oasis (approx. 4-5 hours drive).
Arrival at the oasis and lunch at a local restaurant.
Explore the oasis by 4x4 vehicle:
Visit the local village and its palm gardens.
Discover the natural springs.
Possible visit to English Mountain, a viewpoint with panoramic views of the oasis.
Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional hotel or desert camp, under the starry sky.
Day 2: Bahariya – Black Desert – White Desert
Breakfast at the camp or hotel.
Start of the 4x4 expedition through the Black Desert, a landscape of volcanic hills covered in dark basalt.
Arrive in El Haiz, with the opportunity to bathe in a natural hot spring.
Continue the journey to:
Crystal Mountain, a stunning natural formation of shimmering quartz.
Agabat Valley, a paradise of golden and white rock formations.
Arrive in the mystical White Desert, a surreal landscape of wind-sculpted limestone formations.
Dinner and overnight stay in a camp under the stars, with a campfire and Bedouin tea.
Day 3: White Desert – Dakhla Oasis
Early breakfast at the camp, surrounded by the absolute silence of the desert.
Departure from the desert by 4x4 and change vehicles to continue to the Dakhla Oasis.
Arrival and visit to:
Deir el-Hagar Temple, a well-preserved Roman sanctuary in the middle of the oasis.
El Qasr, a medieval Islamic village with narrow streets and adobe houses, transports us back in time.
Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional hotel in the oasis.
Day 4: Dakhla – Kharga Oasis
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Kharga Oasis.
Arrival and exploration of:
Bagawat Necropolis, one of the oldest Christian cemeteries in the world, with frescoed chapels.
Hibis Temple, a magnificent Persian-era temple dedicated to the god Amun.
Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in the oasis.
Day 5: Kharga Oasis – Luxor
Breakfast and early departure to Luxor by private vehicle.
Arrival in Luxor and end of the journey.
